Siamo capitati per caso in questa pensione (che noi possiamo definire agriturismo) durante il nostro tour in bici da Passau a Vienna. Si trova in collina, infatti il proprietario è venuto a prenderci nella piazza del paese. Si gode di una vista bellissima, i locali sono tutti arredati in legno chiaro, fiori, piante dovunque, animali da cortile, cervi, struzzi, cavalli e altro, un'oasi da apprezzare per più giorni. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili. Non so quanto costi a notte, perchè il nostro soggiorno faceva parte di un pacchetto turistico.

Lors de notre voyage a vélo, nous avons fait halte dans cette auberge très sympathique. Calme grandiose et endroit splendide. Chambre et salle d'eau simples mais propres. Profitez également de votre passage pour y dîner, l'ambiance du restaurant est extra!||Service appréciable pour éviter la montée: le patron propose d'aller chercher gratuitement les cyclistes dans le bas de Grein (près de la piscine) avec sa remorque à vélos.

The hotel is situated 2/3 miles from town. Travelling with Bikes we needed to be collected from the town centre which worked well and efficiently. The rooms were good and food and service excellent. Provision of a pool was also very welcome with a beatiful setting and views.

Day three Danube cycle.||||If cycling, be warned of the 1 in 5 climb to the hotel from the centre of Grein. The hotel is somewhat out of town and especially with the hill, isolates you from popping out in the evening. Once arrived we felt pretty much marooned.||That said, it had mostly everything you would need: Wifi, a pool & food. It is a pity that they could not offer breakfast early or an alternative sandwich etc to take away.||||The hotel itself felt a little tired with its avocado bathroom suite and, with lots of knick-knacks everywhere one felt as though you were staying at the owners home. In fact, it somewhat felt like this in the service. The young girl was pleasant and lovely but the older lady I felt that she had been in the business longer than she cared and had had enough. It wasn't exactly service with a smile.||Not many food options (for veggies) in the restaurant and what we did have was not very nice.||No aircon in the rooms and we had to 'beg' to be able to borrow the only (very mucky) fan in the building.. "as long as you bring it back".||||Would recommend on price but not on service. Shan't revisit ourselves.
